Merry Christmas!

Wow, it’s been a long time. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for me since I last wrote. Life is insane!

I finished the book I was writing! I’m almost done with the third and final runthrough of editing on my part. Then, I’ll start on the next book in the series. My sister hasn’t finished editing the first book I sent to her, so I can’t send this one to her yet. But hopefully by next year you’ll be seeing some books being published by me!

And, it’s almost Christmas time! I love Christmas so much, and I’m super excited for it to finally arrive, mainly so that I can see what presents I got! That may seem kind of childish, but it’s mostly because I didn’t ask for much, and yet I have a ton of presents under the tree with my name on them.

We started Christmas super early this year. Normally this time is when we’re all scrambling to find presents. But I finished my shopping and wrapping for everyone on Monday, so I’m less stressed and more just anxious for Christmas to finally come. I’m not sure which is better. At least when you’re rushing around you don’t feel the severe anticipation for Christmas as much.

Did I mention that I got a job? I can’t rememeber if I did. I probably didn’t. I’ve been all over the place on this blog. But I did get a job, and it’s a weird feeling. I kind of like it because now I have something to do with my time, but I also don’t like it because . . . work. I don’t think any human truly enjoys working, unless what they’re doing for work is a hobby of theirs. Like my writing is technically work, but is it really? It certainly doesn’t feel like it. What’s the definition of work, anyway?

Wow, that’s not where I expected that to go.

Everything in our house this last week broke down. Our oven, our dishwasher, our fridges, our water heaters, and our garages (they broke several times). Currently there’s a guy here to fix the water heaters, so I’m just stuck without water for who knows how long. My mom forgot to tell me too, so I didn’t do everything I needed to before he came. Sigh.

But life is pretty good! Christmas is a season of giving, joy, and, most of all, love. I hope you guys have a very merry Christmas this year!

Best Wishes,

Sally

Cutest white elephant gift I’ve ever gotten. Get it? ‘Cause it’s a white elephant? Hahaha.

  1. I used to be recommended this web site by my cousin. I’m now not sure whether or not this post is written via him as no one else recognise such specified about my trouble. You’re wonderful! Thanks!|

  2. I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content to suit your needs? I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome site!
